I just recently picked up the fourth book by Rowling at a thrift store and decided to read it, because I previously read the first three. This one is definitely more interesting than the third. Anyways, you can kind of look at this review or whatsoever as a book log. Hope you enjoy!
Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire

Harry Potter starts off leaving his ‘normal’ relatives home off Privett Dr. to join his best friends from Hogwart’s Wizarding School for the Quiditch World Cup. The Irish competed against the Bulgaria. The Irish won with ten points in the lead, even though Krum, the lead Bulgarian seeker, caught the snitch (worth 100 points)to leave the game ‘on his terms.’ That very night the dark mark of Voldermort’s appeared in the midst of twilight at the campsite near the stadium, which had every fan and player running in fear. A house elf was suspected of conjuring the mark when she was found behind the bushes with none other than Harry’s wand. Mr. Weasley, part of the Ministry of Magic was a witness to this, along with Harry. Hermione, Ron, and others were there as well. Ron’s father, Mr. Weasley was later mentioned in The Daily Prophet for having stirred matters up. Before the Quiditch World Cup, when Harry was sleeping soundlessly in his bed on Privett Dr., he had a nightmare of an elderly man, Frank Bryce, who Harry was disguised as in his mare, eavesdropping on Lord Voldermort. ‘He-who-shall-not- be-named’ was set in the most peculiar, crippled form while sitting in a chair conversing with his faithful servant, Wormtail and pet snake, Hagini. The three swines were discussing a plot to murder Voldermort’s arch nemesis, Harry Potter. Harry awoke from his nightmare sweating and with the scar on his forehead burning. He quickly sent Hedgewig, his pet owl, a letter to Sirius Black (Harry’s estranged godfather) discussing the odd recurrence. Now, back to Hogwarts... there lay exciting news for all four houses (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin)from Dumbledoor, the school’s headmaster. Instead of the Quiditch tournaments this year there would be a Triwizard Tournament consisting of students ages 17 and up. The competitions also are held for students within foreign schools, which means Hogwarts will be hosting the tournament.
... I’ll add more later.
