Carrying on a conversation with someone who’s too absorbed in their own affairs is exhausting. Who wants to be around someone who blinders anyone else’s concerns. It is rather that the person is talking at us, not to us.
This happens with everyone at some point. Just remember to be considerate towards others. Be careful no to take over the airwaves, even if our own lives take up most of the inner monologue.
